Beck II Plate
Collagraph plate made out of mountboard that was used to print Beck II which maps the journey of the beck through the village.
After finishing the printing the plate was left in its inked state to slowly dry, a process which takes a few weeks, unlike a print on paper which is dry withing a few days.
It was mounted on white wooden unglazed frame and I intended it to be one of my submissions to the Ferens Open Exhibition.
However it sold within the first couple of hours of an open studios weekend so I had to submit another work instead!
