Vertical Horizon II
Vertical Horizon II

Collage of two overlaid etchings presented in a black wooden glazed frome.
Vertical Horizon was one of my earliest etchings and the inspiration for it came from many hours sketching on the sea front at Filey.
There is a great little take out cafe on the Coble landing and I often enjoy a cuppa from there while sketching the boats hauled up onto the landing,
along with the rusty tractor used to launch them.
I played with different inking techniques including viscosity to create an edition of 12 etchings on paper all slightly different and this artwork is created from the last surviving two. The plate used can be seen in this same gallery.
£50 framed (£30 unframed)

Size: Frame 28cm x 23cm
