Collagraph on paper with collage created from an experimental plate built by applying
masking tape, aluminium tape and dried seaweed onto a broken roof slate.
It was an interesting challenge setting the rollers to the right height and packing the plate to prevent it splitting as it went through the press.
The resulting textures created by the inked slate were very pleasing and I will perhaps consider using old slate tiles again.
