As with so many creatives I have more inspiration and ideas I would like to follow up than time & energy allows so choices have to be made. I respect the ebb & flow of creative energy and try not to force myself down any particular route at any one time.

I can go through very active creatives phases spending a lot of time in the studio, and at other times spend very little time there. I have learnt that worrying when nothing appears to be happening is counter productive and I find that fallow quiet times allow new ideas & inspiration to emerge.
