This collagraph shows what can be created out of a round foiled cheesecake base and a small thin aluminium crescent shape!
Food packaging can be a useful source of materials to use in collagraph plate making.
I have quite a stash in the studio of foil covered pizza & dessert bases and lids from take-away food containers.
Scoring into & peeling thin layers from the packaging can produce a plate that gives a very similar result to an etched metal plate.
