Tipping Point @ Fornovolasco
Collagraph created out of 8 different plates.
The inspiration for this plate came from a frusrating day spent at Fornovolasco, a remote mountain village in Tuscany, whilst on a residential art course.
I just couldn't find a view I wanted to paint so ended up exploring the village and discovered a simple fountain which I happily sketched
using graphite sticks & not the paint I was supposed to be using.
When the art tutor found me he was not impressed that I wasn't fully engaging with the day's learning but
little did either of us know that it would in time lead to some interesting collagraphs.
