Memory Wall II
This collage of collagraph, linocut & etching fragments on canvas hangs in my kitchen and is a special reminder of the earliest days of my printmaking.
I vividly remember making the 'moon' plate out of a pizza base & scrim with an added thin aluminium etched piece and printing it during my time at Handprint Studio.
I originally pulled six 'celestial body' prints, two sold at exhibitions and the remaining four got used for my Memory Wall series of collages.
Not all my Memory Wall series are large works - a number have been made on little canvases only 18cm x 13cm, which are much quicker & easier to make.
